Klaro calculates the real cost of a used car bought abroad and delivered to your door, and flags the risks visible in the listing. Klaro doesn’t sell cars, buys nothing for you and contracts no service on your behalf: you deal directly with the seller.

Taxes (malus, carte grise) are calculated with formulas and scales published by the administration, never by an artificial intelligence. Each line of the calculation links to its source. Whatever is estimated is shown as a range, with the “Estimated” label.

We compare with the median price of similar listings in France: same model, year within one year, mileage within 20%. We use the median, not the average, so that one outlier listing doesn’t distort the result. With fewer than five comparable listings, we show no saving.

This comparison is not exhaustive: it is based on the listings we can read, not on the whole market.

When Klaro presents several cars, they are ranked by real delivered cost, from cheapest to most expensive. No payment, commission or partnership changes that order or the content of a calculation.

When a link to a third-party service (a vehicle history, for example) earns Klaro a commission, the notice appears next to the link, on the same page, and not only here.

To date, no paid partner link is active on Klaro.
