Klaro calculates the real cost of a used car bought abroad and delivered in France or Spain, and flags the risks visible in the listing. Klaro does not buy, inspect, transport or register any car: you deal directly with the seller.

Without an account you see for free the listing price, the calculation of the real cost (each line, its source, the true saving), the risk signals and the German police rules. The purchase report for a specific car costs €49, as a one-off payment. This information is provided for guidance; estimated figures are shown as ranges.

The purchase report is an optional paid service, for one specific car, priced at €49 including all taxes. Contents: the summary to decide, the 5-step plan, the official step-by-step through to registration, the four messages to the seller in their language, the documents to ask for and the handover-day checklist.

The report is delivered by private link and by email within 24 hours.

The pack of 3 reports costs €99 including VAT: one report is used for the car where you buy it, and the other two stay in your account, with no expiry date.

Guidance costs €149 per car including VAT: the full report, plus a person who reviews by email the listing and the documents you send us, and answers your questions for 30 days. Klaro does not buy, transport or handle any paperwork for you. As long as you have not sent us any question, you can withdraw within 14 days and we refund you.

The report is digital content supplied immediately. By ticking the box provided at payment, you ask for the service to be performed immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal (article L221-28, 13°, of the French Consumer Code).

If the malus we give as exact (not estimated) differs by more than €200 from the amount charged by the administration, we refund the report. The request is made by email, with proof of the amount charged, within 3 months. It does not cover estimated ranges.

Klaro does not certify any car or any seller. The absence of risk signals only means we saw nothing in what is visible. Klaro’s liability is limited to the price of the report, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

In case of a dispute, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge (article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code). Mediator: [à compléter].

French law applies. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
